The heater element is located in the bottom of the dishwasher. It is used to maintain the temperature of the water during the wash cycle and to dry the dishes afterwards. If your dishes are not coming out properly cleaned or dried, there may be an issue with your heater element. If you need a new part, this is a genuine OEM replacement. In order to complete this repair, you will need to disconnect the power supply to your dishwasher, remove the water inlet valve, and pull the dishwasher out from underneath the cabinet if applicable.
