My dishwasher stops washing right after the soap dispenser opens. I am trying to figure out what part needs to be fixed. Dishwasher starts fine, I can hear it fill and spray the dishes. Then it gets quiet, the soap dispenser pops open with a thud, then silence. Front of machine looks like it is running (nothing is blinking). Eventually it the light goes from washing to drying to clean. I open it up, dishes are dirty and soap detergent is on the silverware holder and bottom.
Is it the main control board? What part is it? And can I do it myself? I was able to follow a video a replace the motor pump myself. Please help. Thank you.

Hello Cassie, thank you for your question. The issue may be the Turbidity Sensor PS12070543. The turbidity sensor measures the amount of transmitted light to determine the turbidity of the wash water. These turbidity measurements are supplied to the dishwasher controller, which makes decisions on how long to wash in all the cycles. If this sensor does not correct the issue then try the Board PS8260225. We do not have a video of this exact main board but our site has many that at similar. Good luck with your repair.
