The heating element expired on our dishwasher.
I followed an internet video on how to change a dishwasher heating element. The installation involved completely removing the dishwasher from the cabinetry, needing sufficient space in which to turn the dishwasher on its side, and disconnecting the electric wire from the appliance junction box. The actual timing of the part replacement wa s about 15 minutes. The difficulty I had was familiarizing myself with where the hoses and lines connect and reconnect. Our kitchen is also small, so moving the machine around was tricky. If I were to replace the part again, I could do it much faster, now that I know how to do it. Also, the element seals were a bit different on the replacement part; however, they work just fine.

D3 error code - Heating element failure
Thanks to your excellent video, I just took my time, followed the instructions and I was done. Took longer to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet then to replace the element. Thanks for everything. Did it myself and saved a lot of money!
