Burned out broiler element.
First, the parts arrived as promised and fit perfectly. Remember unplug your stove before removing the old element. Unscrew and pull out so you can remove electrical clips. Clip in the new element and screw back in. If the clips need to be adjusted, you can squeeze tighter with pliers or open them up with a screw driver. They should be sn ug. Pull a steak out and fire up the broiler!

It didn't heat.
We had to change the female part on the hot wire because it had been damaged originally. It had been soldered on instead of plugged in.
