The retainer bar is used to keep bottles and jars securely on your refrigerator door shelves. This genuine OEM replacement bar is cut to fit your fridge and the existing end caps. Please note that this part is just the retainer bar, if you also need to replace the end caps they will need to be purchased separately. Replacing the bar on your fridge is a simple repair and may require the use of a flat blade screwdriver to gently pry open the clips for the end caps. Remove the shelf assembly from the fridge door by lifting at the end caps. Remove the end caps from the damaged retainer bar and slide them onto the new bar ensuring the locking tabs click into place. If the end caps are difficult to remove, or to slide onto the new bar, you may need to use the flat blade screwdriver to lift up the tabs. The new bar can now be installed back into your fridge.
