Dryer squeals when running
Followed video demonstration and it was easy. Used putty knife to release two latches under front edge of top cover. Tilted cover back against wall, removed two phillips screws at each inside location, lifted fron panel and swung aside to right location. Disengaged idler pulley and belt under drum (in lower corner) Used belt slack on top of drum to lift drum up and forward out of support bearing. Removed drum forward and out onto floor. Located drum support bearing in back/center of back panel held by two screws. Installed new bearing and reassembled. Runs great. Before this operation I had been almost ready to buy new dryer at $300 or more. Very satisfied with instructions and shipping service -- and minor cost !

thumping sound drum was wobbling
Replaced the drum bearing kit. Hardest part was screwing new screws into the rear bearing. I recommend you screw them in first then take them out then place bearing on drum and screw them back in or youll never bet them on. Add plenty of grease and put the bearing in from outside back not from inside. Alot easier. CAREFUL OF METAL SO SHA RP IT CUTS LIKES RAZOR USE TOWEL AND LONG SLEEVES OR YOULL LOOSE FINGERS EASY.

Dryer was making a squealing noise
On the back of the dryer there is an inspection cover, remove it and you can get to the belt. release tension and remove the belt (Very easy to do, no tools required). Two screws hold the top in place, remove, slide top back and set to side. There are two screws and four clips holding the front on remove the screws and pop the clips loos e, unplug wiring harness and remove front. Remove plastic guide that is in front of the drum, pop drum up and out of bracket holding the back, slide drum out the front. Now you have access to the rear drum bearing. Reassemble in the reverse order. There is a good video online that you can follow prior to starting this project.

Same as the video, except we didn't dare to pull the belt to pop the drum out of the drum support bearing as it was looking old and we had only ordered the drum support bearing not a new belt too. We popped it out with a claw hammer (claw side) which worked fine. Also, we didn't have any hi temp grease as called for in the video. This should come standard with the bearing!
