Hi Tim, thank you for the question. The nE error code is an indication that there is a problem with the vario motor in your dishwasher. This is a mistake of the diverter distributing water among the rockers of the impeller. It is controlled by an electric motor (vario motor), which drives the diverter switch (micro switch). As a result, the subunit redirects water every 90 seconds to the nozzles of all spray levers by turns: from the lower to the middle, from the middle to the upper and vice versa. The micro switch informs the main board of the change of location of the valve. When the central module does not receive the corresponding signal, the error code nE appears on the display. The violation affects the operation of the equipment: water flows unevenly into the rockers and the impeller does not wash the dishes well. Sometimes it is caused by a temporary system failure. To solve this problem, it is enough to disconnect the device from the mains for 10–15 minutes. If the reboot did not bring the expected results then, switch off the dishwasher and check the harness going to the engine and diverter microswitch. Insert the connectors firmly. Make sure there are no breaks that interfere with signal transmission and cause error code. If the wires are fine, measure the resistance of the microswitch, part number FIX16219431. When the piston is inserted, it must be infinite, with the extended one–0 O. If, in both cases, the resistance is the same, then the micro switch does not determine the diverter position and causes error code nE. You will need to replace the microswitch.
