Oven Electronic Control Board

1. Removed small cover panel at terminal with 1/4" nut driver and used voltmeter to confirm power disconnected to terminal block on range which was hard wired (not plug in). 2. Removed back panels. Pulled push on wire for elements and checked condition and resistance of oven elements. They were OK. 3. Restored connections and breaker ... Read more and observed that stove top and oven light all operated. No display on Oven Control. 4. Opened breaker, confirmed no voltage to stove. 5. Confirmed color of wires and locations were same as electrical diagram. Pulled wire connections from pins on oven control using needle nose pliers. Removed control with nut driver. 6. Local appliance parts web site noted that oven control was obsolete and not available. On Part Select web site I was able to find an updated replacemnt oven control for my range. Ordered and received oven control and overlay (be sure to order both). 7. Applied overlay to control. With power disconnected, installed replacement part and reconnected wires. Restored panels. Restored power. Tested operation. Done!

removed rear panels from range - removed circuit board from location (mounting screws 1/4" head - I used nut driver for all screws.) Detach 2 wire group plugins.
