Product Description

The gasket around your refrigerator door is used to make a tight seal when the door is closed, which keeps the cool air inside and the room temperature air outside. If the gasket has become damaged and is not sealing properly, it is important you replace it as soon as possible. Without the tight seal, the fresh food stored in your fridge may not be at the proper temperature, which could result in foodborne illnesses. Replacing the gasket is a simple repair and should not require any tools. You may need a putty knife to loosen up a corner of the old gasket, but otherwise it can be removed by hand. Ensure that the groove is clean of any debris before fitting the new one into place.

gasket leaking
Nice to have a groove to accept new gasket. I did better starting with the corners and working toward the centers rather than out from the centers.

Gasket was bad.
Ordered new gasket, watched the online video, got new gasket and pulled old one out and pushed new one in. EXTREMELY EASY TO DO. Video said to use putty knife to take old gasket out, but we didn't have to. WATCH THE VIDEO, it's a great help.

Old door gaskets cracked from heat while in storage
Pulled off the old ones with fingers. Wiped down door while we could reach the part of the door we couldn't with the gasket on. Then starting in the corners pressed the new one in. Starting with the corners near the hinges as the last one has to have the sides bent slightly to slide into place. Then press the sides in, close the door and look for areas you need to reseal that aren't tight to the door. Fit great.

The fridge door seal came apart at the bottom due to a sticky substance that glued the seal to the fridge box
The old seal was easy to remove and most of it was coming off anyway. I thought it was going to be a huge pain to put the new one in, but WOW...no problem at all! The new seal snapped into place without the use of any tools and it works great. I'll definitely use this site in the future.
