Heavy frost build up in the freeze and no cooling in frig side
The repair was amazing simple after watching Steve's video presentation (which was spot on). Removed the plastic housing, removed a few hex screws, and lower the entire unit, just as shown in the video. Disconnected the old adaptive defrost board and reconnected the new one, then reinstalled everything in reverse order. Nothing to it a nd saved myself a big repair bill! Thanks !

Refrigerator would not get cold
Ordered Circuit Board that regulated the defrost cycle and replaced with the new part.every thing works great now.

Temperature in refrigerator and freezer not cold enough.
Replaced the Adaptive Defrost Board (defrost timer) behind the temperature control slider panel in the refrigerator per the video. Maytag refigerator working like new after 3 weeks. Minimal down time and minimal repair cost. Video provided tremendous help.

fridge wasn't cooling; freezer was, but coils iced over
Tested the defrost coil ohms - in spec, so ordered the adaptive defrost board. R&R just like the handy-dandy video described that was posted on this site. Thanks a bunch for the easy to follow video!
