Heating Element Terminal & Insulator Kit

Removed front of dryer, disconnected high-temp thermostat and heating element wires. Removed two screws and metal tab and removed heating element housing. Removed 4 screws and accessed heating element. Removed old heating element, breaking ceramic insulating point. Ordered new insulator. Reassembled. Broke door switch while reinstalling. ... Removed the from panel from the dryer unit. Although we replaced the 4 items listed above, the main cause of the problem was the heating element thermal insulator. Upon removing the front panel and inspection we noticed the heating element was cracked/broken, Actually there were two of them, so we reordered another and replaced them bo ... Read more th. they look like a copper screw with a collar and a ceramic head. Once these were replaced the dryer worked fine.
