Magnetic door switch and magnet were replaced. Open door alarm sounds after the door is closed. Inside light does not light when opening door. The bulb will light if a magnet is placed near the magnetic switch. Is this a control board problem?

Thank you for your question. The reed switch at the bottom of the refrigerator is an electrical switch that is operated by a magnetic field. If the light is not turning on inside the freezer, check and see if the magnet on the bottom of the door and the switch are aligned properly. To stop the door ajar alarm, press the set key to reset the alarms. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
