Gas oven took a long to to heat up and did not maintain set temperature
I unplugged the electrical cord, removed the storage drawer, oven racks, oven door and bottom panel of oven interior. I then removed the cover over the main bake burner. Through the storage drawer area, I disconnected the electrical connector for the bake igniter. Inside the oven, I removed the two screws that hold the bake igniter to the main burner and removed the old bake igniter. I fished the wires of the new bake igniter through the oven floor and attached the new bake igniter to the main burner wit the two screws. I reached into the storage drawer area and attached the wire connector for the new bake igniter. Then I connected the power cord for the range and tested the burner. All worked well, so I replaced the burner cover with thew two screws that hold it in place; replaced the oven bottom panel with its two screws; replaced the oven racks, oven door and storage drawer. The entire process took 15 to 20 minutes including cleaning the floor in the kitchen when I was done.

old part had fallen into pieces
removed the oven plate, the burner unit, removed and replaced/plugged the new bake ignitor in, moved oven plate and burner unit back into place.
