Water Pump Assembly

I switched the breaker off at my main electrical panel. The assembly shipped to me with the sensor switch "on the side" so I placed that firmly into position in the assembly before installation of the assembly. Read more ghly recommend doing that -- my "old" pump actually started working after that but I had already ordered the new part, which I installed today. You can reach back in to get at everything if you are careful, but if you have large hands or find it too confining, you can easily remove pieces; it's pretty easy. I recommend taking a photo with your phone of the electrical connections so you are sure to get that back in the right place. You must disconnect the three electrical connections and remove the four screws holding the pump assembly into position. Then just work it out, put the new one in position, connect the three back again, replace the cover (I think there was just one screw for that) and voila. Be sure to cover the drain hole while you are working so you don't lose any screws and clog the line. The four screws can be tricky to get on and off. If you find it impossible, remove some of the components above it like the ice cutting grid so you have more space to work. My level of expertise is complete female beginner.
