Error code F97 -- lower cooling fan was not working
1. shut of power circuit at the panel
2. take doors off oven. I referred to a youtube video. It's really easy once you know how to flip the locks on the hinges.
3. remove trim pieces
4. slide oven out of wall opening -- have a platform of some sort equal to the height of the bottom of the wall opening so you dont ha ve to lift the oven. I used a cooler, which was the perfect height. You might need a helper for this. Because I had a platform that was the perfect height, the oven slid right out and I could reposition. You may need to disconnect the power at the top, back of the oven, in order to get enough room to work. I didn't have to do this.
5. remove the panels from the back of the oven. I removed about 3 different panel pieces. There are 3 or 4 dozen hex head sheet metal screws to be removed. Try to make note of where they all go. Take a bunch of pictures so you can reference during re-assembly. In spite of my efforts I ended up with 4 extra when I was all done. oh well....
6. remove the housing for the lower cooling fan. Carefully disconnecting the harness connectors so you don't break anything
7. This is where I ran into a problem: The connector on the replacement fan was not the same as the original. It was a slightly different shape, and the wires were arranged differently. After 20-30 minutes of contemplation, and some deep breaths, I cut the wires on the new unit, and spliced the old connector on to the new fan unit. The wire colors were the same, so it was not too hard to make sure I did it right. But be careful to use the old as a reference, take a picture if needed.
8. reassemble the cooling fan housing -- this was a slightly tricky to get everything lined up.
9. Ideally, I would have tested prior to re-assembly, but I don't think the oven will operate until the doors are back on.
10. reassemble all the panels
11. put the oven back in the wall
12. put the trim pieces back on
13. put the doors back on
14. turn on power
15. test
16. brag to family about how amazing you are, and demand hot baked cookies as payment

F97 code, double oven won't bake.
Found wiring diagram and code description on oven control board section. Removed doors, removed double oven from wall cabinet and access was from behind oven. Used 4 wheel dolly to place oven for easy mobility to remove and install. Removed back panel and lower cooling fan was easily removed and reinstalled. Worked great!
