The plastic flap (part PS992028) had been mashed into little pieces
It was very simple. The most difficult part was finding a smaill mirror. Once that was solved I simply pulled the wire assembly and replaced it with the one I had purchased. It took about 10 minutes. Just because I was a bit unsure. The wire goes in two points of the assembly.
