Broken piston ring, carburetor replaced.
It’s pretty self explanatory. Clean the engine inside and out, add some motor oil to the piston ring and gently place it around the piston. Be sure the chamfer is correctly oriented so that it fits around the pin in the piston when it’s fully compressed. Wrap a 1 inch strip (cut from a Pepsi can) around the piston and ring to compress the ring and secure with a hose clamp. Do not over tighten the hose clamp; it should be just tight enough to compress the ring. GENTLY Tap the piston/ring assembly into the cylinder block: DO NOT FORCE IT. Reassemble the engine. Oh and make sure you put oil on the crank case plug o-ring seal before pressing it into the crank case.
