Keyboard said "OFF" and "OFF", and nothing I could do would get the fridge running
Remove the device at the top of the fridge box that gets the flap on the left door to turn as you close the door. Phillips head screwdriver. Removed in less than a minute. Then slip a large flat head screwdriver under the front corners of the control module (which shows the keyboard in front, the light switches, and the bulb enclosure in the back). Do it slowly and carefully and you will be able to pop off the entire module. Two opening in the back of the module show the main clips that snap the unit closed. Carefully pry those until the unit opens up. A small flat head screwdriver is need to disconnect the electrical harness and a small connector. You can then lift out the controller board, which is only held in with one simple clip. Detach the harness from the keyboard to the control board. It's a bit tricky, as the release clip is small, so go slowly. (They really could have devised a much better connector!) If you are replacing the keyboard (which might also be the source of the problem), it can be peeled of easily, although it is glued on. Start removing it by picking up a corner with a small screwdriver. Then just reassemble everything! Of course, you have the fridge disconnected while doing all this. I plugged it back in before I snapped the units back together again. All in all, pretty easy.
