Water leaking into the washer drum when machine off.
Removed the water inlet valve and replaced with new one, very easy. But be sure to tag/mark the electrical control leads/wires before removing from the original/faulty inlet valve to insure you get them back in the correct place on the new one. If they aren't attached to the correct valve terminal the valves won't open and close in the p roper sequence.

Water leaking into drum with machine off...
Turned off water. Pulled washer out. Disconnected water hoses. Drained hoses into small container. Had towels handy to wipe up any spills. Romoved 3 star head bolts/ screws holding top on. Slid top back about a half inch and lifted it off washer. Removed single Phillips head screw securing water inlet valve to back of washer. Slid valv e slightly to right to remove. Removed solenoid connectors after labeling with a sharpie. They were VERY tight. Used pliers to squeeze water hose clamp and slide it down on hose. Pulled valve off of hose, being careful to not cut hose on machine frame. Attached new valve, making sure to line it up properly to avoid kinking hose. Replaced clamp. Then just put everything back, in reverse order. Working perfectly after repair. Also, would suggest replacing water hoses if they are "old"....

Tub filling with water when unit is off
As has been stated on this site, remove 4 screws on back of unit that attaches the top to unit. Remove top and set aside. Remove two wiring harness, keeping both in line to reinstall. Remove one screw that holds washer fill valve to unit. Use pliers to squeeze clamp holding hose to water fill valve and remove old valve. Go in reverse orde r replace valve. Now do the wife's laundry as you've been told to do. Simple fix.

Water flowed into the tub when the machine was off
Replaced the water inlet valve by removing the screws on the top back of the machine and sliding the top cover to the rear and removing. Removed one screw holding the valve in place then removed and replaced the valve. It helps to number the leads connected to the two solenoids to insure proper reconnection.

H/F Flashing Intermittintly1-6 Mins Into Wash Cycle
Googled problem- was directed to this site where I down loaded parts drawing for my washer. After reading different peoples trials for fixing this problem, I came to the conclusion that it could be 1-4 possible parts that was making the washer fault out with h/f flashing. Option 1- order the 4 possible parts and pay about 150 be bucks with the understanding that if one of these parts did not fix it, then I was going to just buy a new washer. Option 2- call a service man to come out and fix it with the understanding that I was going to pay at least 150 bucks to find out what was the problem but most likely would then have to wait for part to come in then pay again for the part to be installed. Possibly a 1-2 week time period to be without a washer. I am not knocking personel that service appliances but I just dont like to wait. I went for option 1. Received the 4 parts the next day. All of parts locations were easily accessed and installation of all parts was complete in less than an hour. While installing, I did determine that the flowmeter was actually the part that had gone bad. I went ahead and installed a new water inlet solenoid valve and water level switch. I also opened the drain pump parts catcher and cleaned it. . . . . . . Much to my suprise I found a quarter, nickle, 5/16 nut. Put the washer back together and did a couple of test loads. Washer worked just like the first day I got it. I was lucky this time. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Had difficulty with flex tubing removal before uninstalling valve.
The valve removal was easy but it was necessary to loosen one of the tubing to get to the valve. I accidently cracked one of the plastic connections when removing tubing. I had to glue the crack first then installed everything correctly without incident...Be very careful and study the tubing network to decide how to loosen the tubing then proceed with valve replacement.
