Hello Chuck, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number you have provided and would recommend testing the water inlet valve as this is the most common cause of this issue. We also recommend checking the water tubes for any clogs. You can test the water inlet valve with a multimeter. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

water leak from the dual inlet valve
Found leak. Shut off the main water valve to the refrigerator. Disconnect the tubing. (Tricky- push the colored ring in while jiggling the tubing out). Remove the part and replace and reconnect all three tubes in the same way. Push them all the way in. Check for leaks and reassemble the covers.

Water leak from refrigerator
Luckily woke up in the middle of the night and saw water puddle starting to form next to fridge. Thought kids had dropped ice cubes. I'm not the handiest of Man. Plus if a repair takes 30 mins normally will take me at least twice as long, because something else always goes wrong. So, tried to shut off water supply, but knob kept turning a

nd wouldn't shut off water. Expected that to happen. No leaks there so saved that repair for another day. Brought out a small bucket to catch water and spare towels so I wouldn't have to shut off the water to the whole house yet. Couldn't find manual to refrigerator, but found the manual on the Maytag website. Found the part on the site but still went to Home Depot to see if I could get it faster. Home Depot is limited on refrigerator parts and they also referred me to this site . So went back to the web and ordered the part. Hoped for speedy delivery but took the full 5 days to arrive to CA. Didn't want to deprive the family of ice and cold water the whole time with this summer heat, so put up with the drip. Other than all that, once the part arrived, the repair was easy. Just do what Jim from CO and the other guys say. Turning off the water makes the water lines easier to take off. The plastic disks on the old valve were a little stiff, but after awhile the tubes came out without much wiggling. Didn't have to cut off any tubing. Just replaced the valve and hooked it back up. No leaks & impressed father in-law.
