Product Description

This lint filter is a genuine OEM replacement part for your dryer. The lint filter is used to trap debris and prevent it from clogging up your dryer vents. If your lint filter has become damaged it should be replaced. Using your dryer without a lint filter can be a serious fire hazard, along with decreasing the efficiency of the machine. No tools are required to replace this part, simply pull out the old filter and slide the new one into place.

My drier was making rumbling noises.
I followed the video instructions, which were great by the way. Pretty easy to remove the front panel, then housing, then belt, then drum to expose drum support rollers and shafts. Removed old and replaced with new after cleaning lint up a bit. Unfortunately, there is still a bit of a rumble when the drier starts up. I fully expected the changed out parts to make a difference, but it was only a modest improvement. I need to do further trouble shooting and diagnosis.

burning smell in the landry room. after the investigation, I found the washer's belt drive was cracked for sometime.
This is my first time that I have work on the washing machine. The washer is 29 years old. After I got the replacement parts from PartSelect, I started to work on it right away. I unplugged the unit front the wall just in case, because I work alone by myself. I just moved the machine forward a little bit so I can tilt it back that way I c an get access to the drive belts. I removed 2 belts out. The first one is for the pump and the second one is for inside tube I guess. The installation is reverse from the removal. I did run one light load for testing. the machine ran fine, except it likes to walk around the room. I went on line and look for the remedy for that. Finally, I did check the feet rubber pad and leveled just one of them by increase the length a little bit. Now everything is working better. Thank you for providing me the right parts and some tips that I can learn from it.

Hardest thing was finding right part that fit. It was located on the site and after delivery it was just slid into the holder and it fit.

Dryer drum not spinning
Remove front by removing 2 screws at bottom. Remove rear access panel at bottom right. Remove front bracket that holds drum in by removing 4 screws. Put on new belt flat side side down. It does NOT go in the groove! Install on motor pulley and idler per instructions in belt package through the rear access panel. Re-assemble front bracket, front panel, and rear access cover. Done. Remember, the belt does NOT go in the drum groove! No one seems to mention that.
