Washing Machine Lid Hinge Ball

Followed you tube video instructions.

FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS GIVEN IN THE VIDEO BUT DIDN'T HAVE THE STRENGTH TO PUSH THE LID DOWN BY MYSELF. I PUT CARDBOARD UNDER THE LID TO HELP HOLD THE ONE END IN PLACE WHILE I GENTLY TAPED DOWN ON OTHER SIDE WITH RUBBER MALLET UNTIL THE LID SNAPPED IN PLACE. REMOVED THE CARDBOARD & WAS BACK IN THE WASHING BUSINESS.

I placed one of the hinge balls into the hinge hole on the left side. Using the lid to hold it in place I inserted the hinge ball into the right side hinge hole. The hinge hole on the lid itself is closer to the end of the lid on the right side. I carefully positioned the lid at a 90 angle to the washing machine and firmly push down unt ...
