This Wire Harness is sourced directly from Hunter and is an OEM approved replacement part for multiple models of Hunter ceiling fans. To see if your device is compatible with this part, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. The Wire Harness is responsible for providing power to the ceiling fan lights, as well as controlling the speed of the fan (3 settings). If the lights in your ceiling fan no longer work, or you can no longer control the speed of the fan, it may be time to replace the Wire Harness. Each Wire Harness is sold individually.

On the zing ear I have black brown grey and green black goes to L where do the other colors go

pull chain snapped off up inside the speed control in the ceiling fan
remove 3 philips head screws, unplug the module, remove 2 screws holding the fan direction switch, swap in the new harness, connect the white and black wires, re-mount the new fan direction switch, re-connect the new module, install the 3 philips head screws...add extended pull chain if needed...THAT'S IT
I made pictures before taking the assembly apart. .Ke it easy for a novice like me. Put it back the same way. Had to change connectors fornthe light portion of the assembly. Easy fix. Took longer to reassemble everything than to make the relair.
I took the light off of the ceiling fan, unplugged the old wiring harness, and unscrewed the switch. Plugged in the new wiring harness put everything back together, now it works great.
