This is an authentic OEM replacement part that has been sourced directly from the manufacturer. Forced air heaters rely on air to heat the space. As this fan spins it forces the air through the burner and out of the heater. The heated air then in turn heats the space. When the fan is damaged, or beings to wear out you will need to replace it so the heater can continue operating efficient and effectively. The fan is made of metal, it is approximately 8 inches in diameter, and it is sold individually.
