This water valve is commonly used on Alpha?s pneumatic air polishers. The valve is mounted on the endcase and regulates the flow of water coming from the polisher, the water flows down through the center of the grinding disc. Using water while polishing/grinding stone helps reduce the dust, it helps regulate the temperature of the grinding disc, and it helps to extend the life of the pads on your tool. The regulation of water is important, if you have too much the job gets messy and the tool might not be as effective, and if you have too little your tool wears more quickly, therefore it is important to control the flow of water during operation.
