The part was the exact replacement. However, please note that the working space is very tight and the orientation of the leads, parts and housing are critical. I backed up and reviewed the video several times to understand how to put it all back together. But in the end, the darn thing works like new!

The part arrived quickly and included everything needed for installation. The best part of the purchase, though, was the YouTube video detailing how to install it. Sure, I could have figured it out. But it sure was fast, efficient, and low-risk to know in advance how to find all the hidden screws and to know the order of disassembly. Fix.com adds a lot of value with their videos!

My Porter Cable compressor would not stop overfilling and for the last few years I just switched it on/off manually. I finally purchased this and it solved the problem for me. Took about 30 minutes to replace and test.

Fixed my Porter Cable "pancake" compressor. Just followed the instruction video and had my compressor up and running again in less than 20 mins. If you have a compressor that won't shutoff this is the part you need. Good luck and enjoy!
