What is the diameter of the hole? I need a 3/4” size for my edger. Thanks.
For model number Craftsmen 358.796481
Hi Nate,
Thank you for your question. The diameter of the hole on this blade is approximately 1/2 an inch. The blade listed for your model, part number 85718, has been discontinued by Craftsman and you will need to contact them to see if they have information on a replacement. If they provide you with a part number for a replacement, you may contact us back with it and we will verify if we have it available for you. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

I am looking for a Powermate Edger blade that can make sculptured edges around a flowerbed. The one I have now doesn't do this.
Hello Larry, thank you for contacting us. In order for us to locate the correct parts and repair information we will require the model number of the unit. Once you have located the model number please feel free to resubmit the question and we will be happy to help you. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
First thing, remove the spark plug, to relieve any chance of compression build up and the blade turn on you while changing it. Remove the blade and install new blade. It does require a wrench on the behind the blade ‘axle’ to keep it from moving while releasing the front holding nut and washer while do both actions, removing and replacing. Reinstall spark plug and start engine to assure the new blade was installed properly. Note: it is easier to replace the blade at waist level than on the ground though it can be done on the ground. Just us ‘older’ ones find it easier not having to get up off the ground.

good blade.
Was exactly what i was looking for. Also, they are a lot less expensive than what Sear's used to charge.

Hard to find.
I didn’t think I’d be able to find this played for an offbeat lawn edger, but I got it and it’s exactly the right one. I appreciate the updates from Fix.com.

Big Edger Blade
Works fine, larger blade than the original and edges better.
