This is a genuine OEM replacement lint filter for your dryer. It measures approximately 12.5 inches in length and is made of a nylon mesh material. It is important that your dryer has a lint filter in place, as it prevents lint and debris from building up inside your dryer vents. If lint is allowed to build up, it decreases the efficiency of your dryer and can be a fire hazard. The filter should be cleared of lint after every dry cycle. No tools are required to replace this part, simply remove the old filter and insert the new one in its place.
