Trying To Pull The Drum Out...
. . . I first cut my finger on the back panel edge while trying to pull the drum up out of the bearing socket. I then unscrewed the bearing plate from the back of the drum (three screws on the inside smaller diameter). It was difficult to stand on the washer lid edges and pull the drum up and out. Once it was out, I needed a helper to hold the rear bracket up to the holes in the back panel while I put the screws in from the front side of the back panel to hold the new bracket in place. Screwing the new bearing plate onto the back of the drum made it relatively easy to drop the drum into the new bearing socket. Once that was done, buttoning up was easy and installing the new belt onto the tensioning wheel was not a problem.
