Product Description

This thermostat controls the internal drying temperature. Cycling themostats continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature. This particular cycling thermostat has a limit of 140 degrees Fahrenheit and a differential of 10 degrees. Meaning that with this thermostat, the heating element will cut out at 140 degrees and cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 10 degrees.

Clothes were not drying properly.
I had investigated the dryer plug to find there was poor connection to the wall. I replaced both the wall receptacle and dryer cord. After that, removed the cover from the control panel and top housing cover with Phillips / flathead screw driver. Then removed two screws toward the top of door side of dryer and laid it down to the floor and then changed out the thermal switch I bought from this site. Simple
