My timer knob turned freely and would no longer "catch" onto a cycle... Pulling it off, I saw that he plastic housing inside was cracked.
I pulled off the broken knob ...aligned the new and pushed it on! The change took less than a minute!

The timer knob broke inside. The plastic broke, as did the metal ring.
My son did the repair. This part had broken before, and we saved a lot of money fixing it ourseves

The resources on this website are excellent! I took my iPad into garage and played the instructional video as I performed the repairs on my dryer. The step-by-step instructions were spot on and the repair went smoothly. As shown, I removed the drum, replaced the worn parts, used the high temp lube and put berry thing back together follow ing the instructional video. Thanks for the help!

Our knob has a crack and definitely need replacement
Remove the broken knob; and just push the new replacement ; align it with the D-shape. Easy ; no tools Less than a minute to do it :)
