A Mouse Got Into The Drier Lint Filter Area And Chewed A Hole In The Filter.
Removed damaged filter and replaced with new filter. Not too technical of a job. Good opportunity to clean out lint that missed the filter over the years.

Lint filter was dry-rotting and falling apart.
Pull out the old filter. Throw in a trash receptacle. Line up the new filter. Let go and watch it slide into place. Close dryer door. :-)

removed outer cover from oven. removed front control panel. removed door control bracket and replaced bracket and three switches on the bracket. reinstalled bracket, control panel, and outer cover.

My current filter's felt seal came off,
so I ordered a new filter thinking that it would have the felt strip attached. Boy, was I wrong. Th replacement is exactly like the fiilter I'm replacing without the felt seal. I guess I am going to have to buy a strip of felt and somehow glue it to the filter.
