Soap dispenser not opening during wash cycle

Removed 8 screws from the door panel. Front panel came off easily. Removed screws from holding bracket on the soap dispenser and removed protective cover. Old part came right out after gently prying the retaining clips. Removed plug for solenoid and removed old part. New part fit perfectly. Reversed my previous steps and appliance is working like new again. Total time from start to finish was about 25 minutes. Was able to complete over my lunch hour. Minimal tools required, star bit and small socket for the holding bracket.
