Soap door clips broken and door fell off
Insert plastic pin with spring in proper tension direction and centered. the loop on the spring does not need to be engaged to the dishwasher door, you can do this later. Prepare to clip the soap door via pressure back on to the pin. Make sure the two short ends on the spring are inside the soap dispenser door prior to pressing it on the shaft. Once pressed on get a screw driver and lift the loop end of the spring to engage on the dishwasher door. I used a steak knife (it was there in the dishwasher and ready to use) Finished

hinge pin broke form unknown cause
Note the position of the lid spring. After step 3 you won't be able to change the spring orientation. 1 - remove the lid, spring and cover. 2 - side the pin about 1/3 the way in and slip the spring on in the correct orientation and slide the pin in the rest of the way. 3 - snap the lid onto the pin. The spring won't hold the lid open unti l you hook the ends of the spring into the lid. 4 - Unbend the paper clip and with the pliers create a 45 degree bend 1/16 inch from the end. 5 - slip the clip end under the pin and hook the end of the spring. Pull the end to the side until it clears the lid rim and let the spring end settle in. Repeat for the other spring end.
