Dishwasher stops during wash cycle - push in on door latch and it resumes
I followed the installation video. First turned off the circuit breaker. Removed the door panel, black shield, and wires. Separated the latch handle from the holder assembly. Inserted the latch handle into the new holder assembly. Put the new switches in the holder assembly, reconnected the wires, snapped on the black shield, and screwed the door panel back on. Turned on the breaker. The dishwasher would not start, and I could hear the switches clicking when I pushed on the door. So I repeated the whole process making sure I had the handle and holder assembly fully seated and lined up with the screw holes. That did the trick. I've run 3 loads since, and the dishwasher completed the wash cycle every time. This site is the best!

Tools:
Dishwasher would not stay running; pushing on door would actuate power.
No go without a torx driver. There are 8 screws to remove and 7 are torx. A power driver makes the job much faster. Remove the plastic door liner without disconnecting the wiring. 7 screws. Remove the Philips screw that holds the switch housing. Set your drill on the inside of the door otherwise the door spring tension will slam the door shut on you. If you only ordered the switch itself, be very careful not to break off the switch retaining clip from the switch housing. It is easy to break. Pull the leads off of the switch, put them on the new switch, and push it back in to the housing. Remount the housing and re-screw, being careful to put it on the correct (indented) side. Lay the panel back in and re-screw it.

Dishwasher door switch
I followed your video which was very detailed and easy. However, I broke a part of the switch when trying to put it back in the door. Fortunately I was able to clean the corrosion off of one of the old switches to replace the new switch. The lock works perfectly. Thank you.
