Watched video, removed front control panel, old broken latch, replaced with new assembly, re-attached front panel and it was done!

Door would not shut.
Removed screws around edge of door. Pulled outer door panel from inner door panel (did not completely separate). Removed 2 wire connectors from micro switch on old Door Latch and Switch Assembly and replaced assembly with new assembly( pressure latch at each end, pops out and in easily) after reconnecting 2 wires. Put panels together, i nstalled screws, had a beer.

the door of my dishwasher would not lock, and therefore the dishwasher would not turn on
SO EASY just unscrewed the panel, unplugged and plugged in the electrical system of the new lock, and rescued the panel back in

Latch was broken and soap dispenser door was sticking.
Removed the door panel and replaced the latch mechanism and soap dispenser. A torx bit and small socket were all the tools needed.
