Dishwasher detergent dispenser would not open/dispense soap
Step 1: Unplugged dishwasher.
Step 2: Opened dishwasher door and removed 8 Torx screws holding door front panel
Step 3: Removed front cover from dishwasher door and closed door.
Step 4: Removed screws from hold down ring around detergent dispenser.
Step 5: Removed wiring harness from detergent dispenser.

Step 7: Cleaned area of door where dispenser was.
Step 8: Inserted new dispenser unit, replaced screws and tightened. Plugged wiring harness into dispenser.
Step 9: Replaced Dishwasher door, replaced screws and tightened.
Step 10: Tested door closure, plugged in dishwasher and ran dishwasher through a cleaning cycle.

WOLD NOT DISPENCE SOAP
I was a bit slow and was a bit not sure I could take this on . things went fine and It works great and my wife is happy so thanks. (by the way I am 86 ) jimbo

The old part was attached with very small bolts
I had to use a 3 inch adjustable wrench and a tiny plyers to remove and re-attach the new unit. Very time consuming.

Rinse dispenser had a warped door
Replace dispenser unit. Requires taking the door apart to remove the existing unit. Turn off electric to dishwasher, open door by removing 10 screws around edge, Catch the now loose control module, disconnect the wire to the dispenser, take out the 6 screws holding it then spring the two clips to remove the unit. the unit with the new part, reconnect the wires check carefully that the new unit is centered in the hole and fastened well. (I left mine a little loose and had leaks that were difficult to solve.) Now carefully replace the control module and the 10 screws. reconnect the electric, test. and its complete.
