latch opens during cycle
Removed Strike plate and replaced it with a new one but door still would not latch, so replaced door latch and door still would not latch. Other comments stated last thing to do would be to replaced door springs which would involve pulling dishwasher out from under the counter . Since dishwasher is 13 years +, we replaced dishwasher instead of calling a repair person.

Door would not latch, so dishwasher would not start
Remove old plate by pushing tabs down while pulling strike plate out. Replace by pushing new strike plate in until it clicks.
