This genuine OEM seal fits under the lower spray arm in your dishwasher. It is also known as a bearing ring and is used to create a seal between the spray arm and the sump housing. The part measures approximately 2 inches in diameter, is made of a white plastic, and has been purposely designed with the split in the ring. No tools are required to replace the seal, simply remove the lower rack in the dishwasher and unscrew the nut holding the lower spray arm in place.
