Detergent dispenser flap latch would not latch
Remove inner door panel. Remove and replace dispenser unit. Reassemble inter door panel.... It helps if you tape the dispenser in place from the inside of the door panel so that you can properly place the retainer brackets and start the screws. I also put a small amount of plumbers valve grease on the dispenser seal just to prevent leaks. If you have one, use a screw gun as there are a bunch of screws to remove/reinstall.

The detergent dispenser was not properly functioning
I removed the screws holding the door together. Then I was able to remove the electrical connections with a pair of pliers. Then I was able to remove the 6 screws that held the dispenser in place. I installed the new dispenser easily and reassembled the door in reverse order based on how I took it apart.

Dispenser door catch broken
Followed your video installation recommendations taking care not to overtighten dispenser mounting screws. It leaked! Took apart again, lightly coated o-ring with silicone grease and made fasteners slightly tighter. Reassembled door and all is well.

the dispenser would not lock when closed
we watched the video on your web site. first we turned off the power to the dishwasher. Then we removed all the screws on the door - gently lowered the frame/door down. we disconnected the control panel and set aside. we then removed the screws around the dispenser, popped the old one out and the new one - put screws back in - reattached the control panel - then reattached back to front door panel. turned power back and all fixed. the video was perfect!
