Dishwasher was leaking
my 15 year old dishwasher still runs great but suddenly started leaking a bit. After inspecting the gasket I determined it was pretty worn so I removed the 6 or 8 Phillips head screws and separated the door. In addition to the worn gasket the little plastic corners feet in the bottom of the door seat seemed worn. Additionally, I was ge tting chunks of what looked like black plastic appearing from time-to-time. Once I had the door apart it was apparent that the "plastic" was pieces of the noise dampening stuff that's taped on the plastic door. Over the years it looked like that had melted and slid down the door. So I ordered all of those pieces - it came to something around $30 for all of the pieces. So putting it all back together was not a challenge - I cleaned up everything well including using a paper towel covered tooth pick where the gasket goes, put the gasket in, the little middle piece of the gasket, the black feet in the bottoms of the door, removed all of the melted noise damper and placed the new one on then put the door back together and refastened the 8 screws. We loaded up the dishwasher and started the cycle. I was very disappointed to see that the thing still leaked! Then, my wife said, "ever since we got that new soap it's been leaking". When I looked at the little soap balls carefully I realized it was laundry detergent and not dishwashing soap! No doubt that my dishwasher is much better off after the changes BUT, before you start ordering and disassembling, check the soap to ensure it's actually dishwasher soap ... laundry detergent bubbles will leak!

Water leakage
After I changed a new door gasket, the dishwasher was still leak water. Then I check the door gasket, at the left bottom corner, the door gasket cannot fit the door perfectly. I found there is some thing in the slot, so I used scissors to cut a little chink in the door gasket, and fit the door gasket again.

Water leaking from under the door
Just pulled the old one out from the channel. Was dry rotted, fell apart on bottom. Started on top with center mark at latch & worked my way around both sides to bottom. Removed bottom rack. Then with finger& thumb smoothed it out. Closed door to seal. Then ran on rinse to check for leaks.

Dishwasher leaking from the top and sides
Had replaced the baffles about 6 months ago...to stop some leaking from the bottom of the dishwasher. Did some trouble shooting...determined we needed a new door gasket. Removed old gasket....simply pulled it out of the track. Cleaned the gasket area....matched the notch on the new gasket to the notch at the top of the door..pressed the new gasket into place. Works great...no more leaks!

The dishwasher was leaking out the dooor.
I had to take the inner lining of the door off and install the gasket with it setting up where I could see what I was doing. Installed the gasket and and put the liner back in the door. Have run it for 3 days and no leaks. Not bad for a 75 year old lady. I am real proud of myself. And I put the magnet on my fridge so if I have anymor e problems in the future I know who to call on for parts. Thank you.

Water was leaking out between the base of the dishwasher door and tub.
Removed the knob from the lock latch and removed the interior portion of the dishwasher door. Removing the interior portion of the dishwasher door made replacing the door gasket and the gasket insert very easy. Ensured that the area where the gaskets and the baffles resided were clean, prior to installing the new replacements.
