I pulled the dishwasher from underneath the counter and disconnected water and power. I removed the spray arm fine filter, inlet cover and sump cap (in that order). I then flipped the washer on its side and disconnected the pump from the sump. This allowed me to push the sump out from below. It had a whole in the inner wall that allowi ... Read more ng water that should be going out the drain pipe to go back into the inlet side. I flipped it back up right and inserted the new sump and then reassembled in reverse order from above. Flipped on it's side again and reattached the pump. Reattached water and power and it works like a champ now.
