Opened the door, read directions, inserted the seal. Make sure to read the direction and let the washer sit with new seal for a day with door locked (as best you can) before using.
Were these instructions helpful?
removed the old gasket, cleaned the door gasket area, installed new gasket. Dishwasher still leaked at corners on bottom of door Bought a new dishwasher and am having it installed next tuesday
Replaced tub gasket and door seal just like the video shows. Was very easy.
I ordered the top 3 parts in terms of probability of solving the problem (water inlet valve, tub gasket, and bottom door gasket). I installed all 3 and it did not solve the door leak. Then I realized that the bottom door gasket had come out (in other words, I had not installed it properly). I reinstalled the bottom door gasket (a critical point is that it has to be *pressed in* firmly -- there should be some resistance), and it worked. Note that the bottom door gasket is a hybrid between a true seal and a splash guard. The notch in the middle is designed to drain water from the door back into the tub. Because of that notch opening, there is sputtering and splashing at various points of the wash cycle. This appears to be by design, and those splashes result in water being absorbed by the insulating foam. Thank you to the previous submission/posting authors, as this is what clued me in.
I watched the video. It was very easy to follow and was able to get both installed in total of about 15 mins.
replaced gasket with the new one from your company.
Great u-tube instruction videos out there.... Saw a brief demo of the exact process to follow and it worked like a charm. A simple and effective fix.
Removed old seal, wiped area clean, then pressed the new seal on with my finger. So easy.
Pulled the old gasket out and pushed the new gasket in making sure not to pull on the gasket . Cleaned the gasket surface inside where the gasket is installed.
did what the helpful video said
