Is it possible that this part could have traveled down to the bottom of dishwasher I found it twisted up in the drain pump. Or is there another seal this size that belongs in that part of dishwasher?
For model number FFCD2418US1A
Hi Rachel,
Thank you for your question. If the nozzle came loose then it is possible that this seal could have ended up on the bottom of the dishwasher. If you would like to place an order for it, customer service is open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

The upper spray arm kept popping off during wash cycle.
I ordered the parts according to my model number. The replacement part comes already assembled, but is actually 2 pieces. I had to snap them apart carefully. The reason for this is that THE NEW TIGHTENING NUT COMES WITH A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT DIAMETER AND THREAD PATTERN. The part numbers listed on the arms are different, but this is the on

ly one available, I looked. I had to utilize the old nut and snap the new spray arm onto it, since the piece that was actually broken was in the inner circle of the arm. When snapping them apart, in the circle there are two notches you must gently push on. Once you have the arm on the old nut, just screw it onto the delivery tube in the top of the dishwasher and you are good to go. Although I ordered the gasket, I figured out that I did not need it, it goes up above the delivery tube.

Retaining ring would not hold the upper spray arm in place
Unscrew ring that holds the upper spray arm in place, gasket, spray arm and retaining ring all come out at once. New spray arm has retaining ring built into it. Simply install new gasket and screw new spray arm into place, hand tighten only.
