We followed the instructions we found here. Seemed simple enough. Unscrewed the inside of the door and pulled out the handle/latch. The switches plug into the assembly and the old ones were EXTREMELY hard to unplug. Required pliers and a LOT of straining. Once we got those off, the rest was simple. Plug the new assembly in, set it back in

Step #1: open door & remove 11 Phillips head screws from the front door inside panel. Remove two wires from each of the 2 switches & remove latch/switch assembly. Lay the new assembly in place & attach the wires to the new switches. Replace the inner panel & 11 screws.

Latch on the door handle broke. Difficulty opening door.
Used a Philips screwdriver to remove screw holding door front on. Turned off power to dishwasher. Disconnected the latch/handle assembly. Needed a regular screwdriver to unplug the electrical leads. The9y were on really tight. Attached the new unit and screwed the door front back on Everything went smoothly.
I watched the YouTube video , ordered the part from the site and installed it as per the video. The only difficult part was getting the two electrical connections to release. It was a "snap" in the video but not with my experience. I was unable to find/locate the release point on either the male or female part of the electric connection.

Before I decided to fix it myself, I looked at repair videos online and was surprised at how simple it was to fix the problem with just one small, affordable part. My landlord looked into the issue and concluded it would cost more to fix than repair. So I was given cash to buy a new one, instead I fixed it and got to keep the rest! Double
