Is this switch 240v 15a? Also is it compatible with c236w?
For model number C236w
Hello Gabriel, thank you for your question. Yes, the part Fix Number: FIX12347301 you had chosen is compatible with your model. We have an installation video for you to access. We hope to hear from you soon.
I'm replacing the surface element switch Part W11120795 and one website says to match H1 to HC and H2 to H1. Is this correct? Or should it be H1 to H1 and H2 to HC? My Jenn Air cook top is Model c221 from the 1980's.
For model number C221
Hi Tim,
Thank you for your question. We have included a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference on how to install the switch. The range in the video may appear different from yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. We hope this helps with the repair!

I have inherited a Jenn-Air downdraft grill (model C101, run 07) which needs one of the infinite switches replaced. This model has a timer and 2 heating knobs on the surface. The bad switch is the one that is located further away from the operator (closer to the vent). The old part is Robertshaw "INF-240P-977", "203147" and had 5 male spade lug connections (P, L1, L2, H1, & H2). There was an additional but unused female connection labeled H2.
What is the correct replacement switch and can you provide a wiring diagram for it?
For model number C101
Hello Rob, thank you for your question. We find the markings on Switch PS2076107 to be the same as you have described. However, we do not have wiring diagram. This would certainly be an issue for the manufacturer to address. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, we would suggest calling the manufacturer. Good luck and have a great day.

I need to replace the Temp Control Switch/Infinite Switch because the stem that holds the Dial broke. I have the switch. However, I can't get access to the Control Panel to replace switch. Is there a video that is specific to my Model Jenn-Air that demonstrates how to do it? I removed the screws below the panel but that didn't free up the panel, what am I missing? Thanks.
For model number Jenn-Air Model JES8850CAS02
Hi Denny, thank you for reaching out. We have researched your model and found a relevant video to help you. It may not be for the same model, but it will help you do the procedure. We hope this is what you were looking for!

electric elements would go on high regardless of where the infinte switch was set.
went to house electric control panel & shut off the 240 volt breaker switch, loosened 2 screws & lifted cook top control panel. made diagram of colered wires, took off knobs & nut holding switch on, removed wires. Put wires on new switch, installed nut & knob. the job went very smooth. now that I have 2 replaced, I will have replace 2 more bad switches ,then the stove will operate correctly. the instuctions wre good.
Make sure power is off, Disconnect power at the electrical panel, lift up vent grill loosen the two screws in the back of the switch housing, compare switches for any differences. Pull off wires from old switch and put them on the new switch. Just pay attention which wire goes on what post
I ordered the part one morning and it was here the afternoon of the next day. I was suprised at the speed of delivery.I turned off the power to the cooktop removed two screws holding the controls removed each wire and placed it on the new part. put the controls back in place replaced the screws, turned on the power and now my Wife is happy.
turned off power; removed 2 screws holding the switch console on ;unscrewed hex nut holding switch on; removed 1 wire at a time and connected to new switch; put nut back on and put console back in position and reapplied the 2 screws and turned on the power;; piece of cake
Switch would not turn the light indicator on at all stops.
Repair was simple. Removed 2 screws holding the switch panel to the Jenn-Air, removed 5 wires on the defective switch, removed the switch from the panel, replaced 5 wires on the new switch and put the new switch back on the panel and secured the panel to the Jenn-Air. JOB DONE!

Went well
Took a little research to define connections since they are a bit different than the oem part but went well and solved the problem of a failing eye element.
