This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part that is used on Heatstar and Mr. Heater forced air heaters. It is part of the unit that allows the user to turn it on and off. Over time switch may develop either mechanical or electrical problems compromising equipment functionality, if this happens the switch will need to be replaced. Big Buddy heater fan switch
I did a search specifically for the switch that powers the fan motor on my big buddy propane heater and this was the switch that came up. Unfortunately the switch size was just a little bit too long to fit the original opening, the width was fine. I opted not to alter the opening in the heater to accommodate it. I found a new replacement in my shop that I hadn't used for a replacement winch power switch so I installed it instead and saved these 2 new ones for some later use in the future.
