This is a genuine Rolair replacement part. The tank gauge is one of two gauges found on our air compressor. These gauges help you maintain the needed pressure in your compressor tank at any given time. The tank gauge measures and displays the air pressure level that is in the compressors tank. Air inside the compressor is warm and wet, therefore over time the parts inside your gauge will start to rust and deteriorate. When that happens you gauge will not give you accurate readings, or it might stop functioning all together. Before you start this repair unplug the air compressor, and be sure to drain the air out of the compressor tank. This gauge is sold individually.
