This is a genuine OEM replacement part that has been sourced directly from Rigid. This replacement part is used in compressors. The regulator controls the pressure in your compressors air tank. Depending on the tool you are using, and the project you are working on pressure will need to be adjusted. When you adjust the knob the seal inside moves to increase or decrease the flow of air. The knob and the gauge for the regulator are sold separately. Before replacing any parts on your air compressor make sure you disconnect the power and drain the air tank.
