will this part most probably stop my saw from leaking bar oil until the tank is empty! Unit is not had many hours on it and has leaked a bit and then more as it got older from sitting in a shed in the box for a long time Home Cheapo would not take it back saying it was purchased more than 3 years ago, told them it was only used 2 times but had not been out of the unopened box for years. Thanks for any other ideas to seal the bar oil leak up!

Thank you for your question. The oil pick up assembly carries oil from the tank to the oil pump. You will likely need to replace this part and the oil pump kit. The oil pump kit pumps oil to lubricate the bar and chain. The part number listed under your model number for the oil pump kit is FIX9472718.
